Underdog Untold

  • Eastern Standard Time (EST) (map)

No one is immune to adversity.

It’s in that moment of deep reflection and challenge that we realize that we’re all underdogs in so many narratives.

This show is designed to amplify the story of strength in adversity and how successful people have overcome their underdog story.

"Reimagining Success" : Transition from McKinsey Partner to CEO

Being Betsy Ziegler, the CEO of 1871 and the #1 ranked private incubator in the world doesn’t come with a short list of needed skills. Additional brands in her journey are The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and McKinsey & Company, and the steps taken to climb into different roles have made her a rich resource of experiences.

Every day for the last 20+ years, Betsy has had the opportunity to help other people be successful - clients, students, and now entrepreneurs and innovators. She is often described as a dot connector and her favorite thing to do is help people unlock their potential.

She is a leader on multiple for-profit and nonprofit boards and is an investor in many young tech companies.

But how did she get to this point? When doubts were heavy what are some of the things she did and what can we take and apply this to our own lives?
